From the San Francisco Bay Area, Dr. Gibbons attended University of the Pacific's 6-year accelerated bachelor's/DDS program, graduating in 2007. One of the things that drew her most to dentistry is the ability to help people on a daily basis.

Growing up in the Bay Area, she saw the huge need that exists in communities — and meeting it has always been a passion. She has volunteered through youth mentoring and tutoring, Oakland Children's Hospital, church mission trips, St. Mary's free dental clinic in Stockton, and the Alpha Phi Omega national service fraternity. She relocated to Arizona for the warmer weather, and enjoys fitness, hiking, tennis, movies, and traveling.

Dr. Monahan believes a smile is the universal language and can say a thousand words. That's why he wants his patients to feel happy and confident in their smiles. His philosophy is putting patient health and education first, and thoroughly answering any questions before completing treatment.

A Pennsylvania native, Dr. Monahan fell in love with the mountains and climate of the West. He served a 2-year church mission in Idaho and Brazil, where he learned to speak Portuguese and Spanish. Before UNLV, he graduated with a bachelor's degree in microbiology from Brigham Young University. He participates regularly in continuing education through Spear Education.
